Sea shanties?
[edit]Howdy. I'm the 'grammar fascist' of the last couple edits. I don't get the 'sea shanty' reference. This is most likely because I'm dumb. 'Splain it me please?
A sea shanty is a song that sailors would sing while they worked. Disney's "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)" from Pirates of the Caribbean (ride and then movie) is in the sea shanty tradition, for example. -Jim North, April 17, 2006
Any analysis of the lyrics?
[edit]I know some of the songs here are often referenced, like Purple Toupee being about aging baby boomers.
